DJI Air 3 boasts the first dual main camera system in the Air series, incorporating a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x medium telephoto lens in an extremely compact space.
Both cameras can shoot 48MP photos that are packed with hyper-realistic detail and allow for seamless cropping in post-production for those who want to push the envelope.
The two cameras have the same sensor size but different focal lengths , which results in more consistent image quality and more diverse camera language.
Thanks to the wide-angle camera, natural landscapes can be captured more fully.
The 3x medium telephoto lens achieves 3x optical zoom without any loss of quality, for spatial compression that provides a unique perspective on any subject.
The Air 3’s dual 1/1.3” CMOS sensors support dual native ISO for direct output of 4K/60fps HDR video without cropping. This means footage from both cameras will be rich in color and natural light transitions for stunning, highly accurate results.
Both cameras support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes. 10-bit D-Log M helps retain more highlight and shadow detail for greater flexibility when editing. 10-bit HLG can deliver a higher dynamic range, achieving excellent results without color grading.
Extended flight autonomy, practical power storage.
Compared to its predecessor, DJI Air 3 offers 48% more battery life, up to 46 minutes , allowing pilots to fly with greater peace of mind and reach optimal positions.
The new battery charging station supports an innovative charge transfer function. Simply press and hold the function button to transfer the remaining charge from multiple batteries to the battery with the highest remaining charge, giving you a more than full battery in situations where charging options are limited.
Take off and land safely with omnidirectional obstacle sensing and O4 video transmission
DJI Air 3 is the first drone in the Air series to include omnidirectional obstacle sensing .
This function allows the drone to detect obstacles in all directions.
The front and back of the device features a pair of fisheye lenses that enable forward, backward, left, right, and upward sensing, while the bottom features binocular lenses and a 3D ToF, providing powerful omnidirectional obstacle sensing.
During Smart RTH, Air 3 will automatically plan an optimized flight path for Advanced RTH , maintaining omnidirectional obstacle sensing to return to the home point quickly and safely.
FocusTrack keeps you or your subject in the center of the frame. The 3x telephoto lens unlocks a unique sense of spatial compression when highlighting subjects. This upgraded tracking performance, combined with omnidirectional obstacle sensing, lets you get smart, well-planned shots in any scenario.
Compared with the previous generation DJI RC-N1, DJI RC-N2 adopts the next-generation O4 video transmission system, and the antenna system has been upgraded from 1T2R to 2T2R,
achieving improved transmission performance.
